I am currently a Teacher Candidate in the credential program at Cal State San Marcos. I'm pursuing a credential in math. I am born and raised in Escondido, CA. I've recently graduated from San Diego State with a degree in mathematics. I very intrigued by any aspect of the world of mathematics. I hope I can create an environment inside my future classroom in which students quite possibly will learn how to be sufficient problem solvers, apply mathematical concepts to real-world applications, and build mathematical thinking, but most of all enjoy math and carry that feeling with them throughout life.Besides teaching math, my other passion is coaching! I have also had a wonderful experience playing collegiate softball for SDSU for four fantastic years! I am now blessed to share my knowledge with high school students at Escondido High School as a softball coach, while also having the great opportunity to student teach at EHS as well. In my spare time, I absolutely love being active and outdoors! I most enjoy participating in any sport, whether it be a team sport or mountain biking around the great city of San Diego.
